Rickshawali (1990)

Sujata is in search of a job an finds it difficult in male dominated industry her father an auto rickshaw driver is the only earning member of the family.Sujata's father suffers a paralytic attack and cant work anymore in order to support her family she decides to drive her father's auto rickshaw and becomes the only female to do in the city which is terrorized by a goon NK Dada whose entering politics.Sujata is in love with Amar and he wants to marry her soon but has to go for his training,Sujata meets a Catholic school teacher whose called Madam by everyone and both develop a friendship.Madam questions NK Dada for his wrong doing and gets raped by him and his men which is captured by a Photographer.NK Dada wins elections and becomes the mayor while Amar returns back from his training he and Sujata questions the collector for electing NK Dada as the mayor thou he has criminal record.The collector tells them he is aware of everything but has no proof against them that's when Sujata and Amar trace the Photographer and trio decide to expose him and his men but Sujata gets framed for Amar's murder.
