The Road to El Dorado (2000)

Two adventurous con artists, Miguel and Tulio, prisoners in the hold of Hernán Cortés' ship, come across a map that leads them to a mythical city, El Dorado, where there is an important treasure of gold. After escaping they pretend to be gods in order to seize all the riches, but their greed leaves them exposed. An animated adventure with original voices by Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh and a praised soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and John Powell, but criticized for its racist optic.
