Treason (1964)

At the height of World War II and the German Occupation of Greece, the SS officer, Lieutenant Carl von Stein, moves into the requisitioned house of the esteemed academic, Professor Viktor Kastriotis. As the Nazi soldier crosses paths with the intellectual's beautiful niece, Lisa, a forbidden whirlwind romance against all logic begins, unbeknownst to Carl that the sad-eyed woman is Jewish. Can love-smitten Carl von Stein, who promises Lisa the stars and the moon, handle the truth?
