Colette is fascinated by the music hall world. She gives up her studies to become a cabaret dancer.She breaks with her fiance who does not approve of her choice.She seduces an old antique dealer who marries her and buys her her own nightclub.But the young woman becomes ill and it's on television she watches the first evening performance of her cabaret.
