Psycho (1998)

Marion, a secretary with a debt-ridden boyfriend, steals $400,000 from her boss and escapes to California. A storm stops her and she spends the night at the Bates Motel, whose manager is its owner, Norman Bates. Days later, Marion is missing and her sister Lila hires a detective to find her. This is a remake of one of Alfred Hitchcock's most iconic films, directed here by Gus Van Sant. This film, although not well received, recreates shot by shot the original 1960 film.
