Earth, This Is Your Son (1980)

Giorgi Toreli is appointed as the secretary of the Raikom in the southern region of Georgia, in ancient Meskheti. Despite the difficulties, he fights for the revival of his native land and filling the empty villages. In an area with no roads, no electricity, no water and no villages, turning the Wayo fields into arable land is considered utopian by many.
