Molodaya zhena (1979)

Young woman makes a promise to her boyfriend when he's drafted for army service. She keeps her promise, but he comes back home with other. Heartbroken she agrees to marry a down-to-earth widower at least 10 year older than her. She builds a bond with widower's daughter, but has no feelings towards her husband. This becomes a burden on both, her and her husband.
