Adventure Starts Tomorrow (1948)

Two crooks team up : a buck ,the "brain" and a Femme Fatale ,a cross between Joan Crawford and Rita Hayworth ,complete with cigarette holder ,the "charm". They take a wealthy man as their target;they start with a jewel then begin to work on a larger scale when they learn the graybeard owns a map which gives the site of of an elephant's graveyard (which means plenty of ivory ).Of course nothing happens as they expected .
