The Lovers (1951)

Yolanda, a cabaret "entertainer" with a shady past tries to escape her exploitive 'manager' Alejandro and turns to Jorge Rubio for help. He helps her leave Ciudad Juarez, evading Alejandro. She ends up in Mexico City where she marries a wealthy respectable man, Bruno. But Alejandro shows up and demands money to keep her past a secret.
