Halla Gulla (1988)

Sharad and Suresh two friend live in a Chawl in Mumbai both are struggling to find work and haven't paid their rent for past six months.Their neighbor Mamasaheb and his daughter are in good terms with them and help with daily necessities.Mamasaheb recommends Sharad for a job at a petrol pump and he starts doing well while Suresh continuous to act in stage plays.During an annual college function Sharad wins most of the awards and meets Mandakini while Suresh meets Vrunda and claims to be Sharad and credits himself for the awards.Sharad and Suresh fall in love with Mandakini and Vrunda but hide their true identities from them.
