Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (1958)

Having arranged to buy her entire fortune for a song, unscrupulous Athenian lawyer Yorgos Nomikos entrusts his conscientious employee Kostas with the crucial task of escorting young heiress Smaro from her village back to Athens to settle her affairs. Indeed, the mission is straightforward: Kostas will have to travel from point A to point B and then return to the office on time. However, after a long night of hard partying and heavy drinking, Kostas fails to make it on time, and as a result, Smaro meanders through the streets of Athens like a fish out of water. Now, to save the law firm and his job, Kostas must find the significant client at all costs. But how is he supposed to recognise Smaro, a perfect stranger?
