All About My Mother (1999)

Manuela, a single mother, experiences a dramatic turn in her life when she suffers a tragedy and decides to travel from Madrid to Barcelona in search of a person from her past. However, finding this person is not so easy, as it has been almost two decades since she last met her. Even so, Manuela finds help in Agrado, a mutual friend who is also going through her own problems. A masterful and intense melodrama by Pedro Almodóvar traversed by multiple themes, with terrific performances and memorable images.
