Deja que los perros ladren (1961)

Esteban is a bureaucrat and is pressured by his boss, a minister of the government, to close down a newspaper that denounces corruption in the government. He has a conscience dilemma but finally gives in. This brings a dramatic improvement in his living standard, which in turn influences the behavior and lifestyle of his son. Watching his son Esteban becomes aware that it is better to remain firm in the values that should guide the rectitude in life and in government.
