An American from Tanta (1954)

The film takes place in the house of (Ibrahim Efendi), a simple employee who lives in a popular neighborhood with his wife and son, and one day he reads a news about an American millionaire of Egyptian origin who wishes to come to (Egypt) and meet his family, so he claims (Ibrahim Efendi) is one of his relatives, and sends him a telegram inviting him to stay with him, and rents one of the villas in order to receive the millionaire, arrives (Mahrous) and stay with them, but discovers over time the extent of the great trouble in which the family falls.
