Bukas luluhod ang mga tala (1984)

A singer who rises from rags to riches must turn the tables on those who have wronged her. She promised that when she and her family had risen from poverty, discontent, and oppression, she would confront the stars of her past and make them kneel before her. Then her stepfather is killed by a dog and her brother is unjustly accused of a crime he never committed. She meets a young boy who discovers her and will help her overcome the obstacles, intrigues, traps, and even the stars that will tear them apart.
