There is an entire segment dedicated to people having sex. This includes instances of full frontal female and male nudity. This also includes unsimulated acts of penetration (both vaginal and anal), fellatio (received from and performed on both men and women) and male and female masturbation.

During the birthing segment, several pregnant women are shown topless and bottomless.

Children's genitals are shown in non-sexualized contexts.

Couples are shown kissing at different points.

In what appears to be a religious ceremony, hundreds of men and women are shown completely naked and lying on the ground. They all then get up and celebrate. Full-frontal nudity is shown.

Newborn babies are seen being pulled out of vaginas, often covered in blood and afterbirth.

In a third-world country, people are shown trampling over one another in order to grab loaves of bread. No blood is shown.

There is an entire segment dedicated to people fighting, mostly with fists. One match is shown using swords, but no contact is made. A group of men are shown shooting pistols at a gun range. No blood is seen in any of the footage.

There is an entire segment dedicated to security camera footage of convenience store robberies. In the first piece of footage, the robber is hit over the head with a bottle of alcohol by the cashier, and then beat out of the store by a customer. The second piece of footage shows the robber hopping over the bar and dropkicking the cashier. The third piece of footage has the cashier trying to fight back, but is then hit over the head several times with a pistol before falling to the ground. There is an indication of blood in the third piece.

There is an entire segment dedicated to protestors clashing with police. Protestors are shown being attacked, beaten, hosed and punched. No visible blood, but the violence is nevertheless brutal.

A group of people are seen being evacuated from a massacre. Several people are shown covered in blood. Corpses are shown being carried away.

There is an entire segment dedicated to war. WWI soldiers are shown in battle. A child is shown being threatened with a knife. A captive is shown being beaten severely by soldiers; blood is shown around his ankles and he is threatened with a gun. A drone strike is shown. A soldier is shown running away from an imminent explosion. A plane is shown exploding in the sky with wreckage falling. A young man's corpse is shown falling into a pit.

The casualties of war are shown; the first piece of footage showing dead bodies covered with blankets, and the second piece showing rotting corpses in what appears to be a concentration camp.

A woman and her baby are shown covered in lesions and burns.

A man is shown being blindfolded before being executed by a firing squad. The scene cuts just before the soldiers open fire.

The infamous public execution of Nguyen Van Lém is shown, where he is shown being shot in the head. Blood spurts from the back of his head as the scene cuts to black. This is the only instance of an actual clear depiction of real murder in the film.

A corpse is shown being burned on an altar. Only the corpse's charred feet are shown.
