Ju-on: The Grudge  (2002)

In Japan, a curse is born when someone dies a violent death, permeating the place where the events occurred and affecting those who come near. Social worker Rika Nishina is assigned to care for an old woman in a house marked by this dark presence. Soon, she is haunted by two vengeful spirits: Kayako, a woman murdered by her husband, and her son Toshio. As strange and terrifying events begin to surround her, Rika finds herself trapped in a nightmare from which escape seems impossible.
