This dramatic comedy follows the life of Ariel, a young Jewish boy who works with his mother in a haberdashery inside a commercial gallery in the neighborhood of Once, in Buenos Aires. Ariel dreams of emigrating to Europe and begins the process of obtaining his Polish passport. However, his plan changes when he discovers that his father, who abandoned them for an ideal when he was a child, has returned to the country. Amidst the urban chaos of the neighborhood, captured with handheld camera, Daniel Burman creates a sense of adrenaline and tension as he explores the complex dynamics of the Jewish community in an Argentina facing difficult times.
