From humble beginnings, Aitken eventually climbed to the heights of the British aristocracy, taking the title Lord Beaverbrook, befriending Winston Churchill and building the world's greatest newspaper empire. This NFB video makes excellent use of black-and-white historical film footage interspersed with beautiful color photography to tell his story.
