A Painful Reminder: Evidence for All Mankind (1985)

This Granada documentary, first broadcast in 1985, showed some never before footage taken by allied cameramen and film-makers when they entered Nazi Concentration Camps in 1945. The original footage was suppressed for almost forty years because the Allies felt it was better to purue cordial relationships with the German people rather than rubbing the horrors of Hitler's "Final Solution" into their noses.
