Unfinished Symphony: Democracy and Dissent (2001)

The rape and murder of Vietnamese women and girls by American GIs is vividly described.

There are a number of scenes in which American soldiers are seen fighting in Vietnam. Bombing and explosions are seen. A baby with a badly burned and bleeding face is shown. Protesters are seen being violently accosted by the National Guard.

Protesters swear a number of times. A few explicit uses of f*** and s***.

Soldiers are seen smoking cigarettes and marijuana. An interview with a soldier discusses how many soldiers smoked pot on the frontlines in order to stay sane. This soldier is later seen rolling and smoking a marijuana cigarette.

The Vietnam violence may be intense for some. Protesters are violently accosted: One women is seen being held at the throat while a National Guardsman holds the barrel of his rifle in her mouth.
