Sabaruddin Tukang Kasut (1966)

The story of Sabarudin who works as a Shoemaker and has a wife who plays the three stick. Sabarudin is a poor man but has a noble heart. Various twists and turns of life had to be overcome, including being slandered by Halobayah until he was driven from his hometown and met an old friend, Putar Alam Syah. This is where Sabarudin met Tuan Puteri and on the advice of his friend he used his trick by saying he was a prince and managed to marry Tuan Puteri. After Sabaruddin became the king's son-in-law, he always gave alms to the poor of the entire city using the royal property. Sabaruddin's success has caused envy to the Chief Minister until a conflict arose between him and Sabarudin causing Sabarudin to be stranded far in the desert. Here Sabarudin met with a saint and was given a gift in the form of a ring for his sincerity in giving charity using the kingdom's wealth. After returning to the city, Sabarudin met with the Minister and managed to defeat him and then get the Princess back.
