Up in the Cherry Tree (1984)

We would rarely ask ourselves if children in the cities were happy, in want of space to play, lonely, with their parents preoccupied, sad as they grow up all alone. Seven-year-old Lin is one of the millions of such kids in the so-called civilized world. He is smart, sensitive and inventive. Together with his friends he makes his games and child's dreams come true, though for just a while. Hidden in the attic of a deserted house, the kids experience unforgettable moments.
