The well-off lawyer Paul is a partner in a well-known law firm, which he runs together with his fatherly friend Hans. He has a harmonious marriage with his attractive and intelligent wife Louise. Their 14-year-old daughter Laura will be moving out any time soon, so Paul and Louise will have time for each other. What reason would there be for Paul to jeopardize all this? There is no logical explanation. But when Paul meets the equally attractive and mysterious Marie in a café, everything is suddenly different. As if a switch had been flipped in his head, Paul only knows one thing: Marie. Marriage and work are parts of a previous life. Of course, at first he has pangs of conscience and makes a few attempts to forget the seductive siren. But the sensual nanny has her tricks - it's not for nothing that she works as a decoy for a dubious "marriage agency": With her sex appeal, Marie seduces wealthy seniors into expensive membership in the club of lonely hearts. For Marie, wrapping Paul around her finger is an inscrutable mixture of play and seriousness. When she wants to quit her shady job for Paul's sake, her rabid boss Charly becomes quite uncomfortable. Marie suspects what he is capable of and persuades Paul to flee. Since his marriage has now finally broken down, he and Marie retire to a holiday home in southern France. But this wonderful break cannot last forever. When Paul, after her return, tries to arrange a bourgeois life for two, Marie begins to ponder: is a terraced house with parceled green strips and bourgeois neighbors really what the passionate gamer has always wanted?
