The movie takes place in a Cabaret that doubles as a Bordello. There are no explicit sex scenes but there are multiple scenes of full female nudity, both in the cabaret and the rooms.

Cabaret numbers include full striptease scenes for all the main female characters, as well as complicated choreography featuring up to 20 topless female dancers

Several instances of mexican double entendre or "albures" in which the terms used are usually of sexual nature intended to make someone else be the object of a joke.
