Essence Awards (2002)

The 2002 Essence Awards was a ceremony hosted by Steve Harvey that honored African-American women who have enriched society through their contributions to education, social policies, public services and the arts. The event was held at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles, and aired on the Fox broadcasting network.
