Het zwijgen (2006)

A young history researcher hears an old folk song, dating from the time that the radio had not been introduced in rural Drenthe. The siren like singing tells of aa number of gruesome murders. He is drawn to investigate it further, unknowingly stepping into the mysterious world of the unspoken, in which his sense of reality slowly but inevitably fades.
