The Color of Fear (1994)

During the course of the film racial slurs are used. These slurs are said not in a derogatory meaning but used to strengthen the argument of one of the group members. These slurs are used because they carry a specific meaning and cultural understanding that is being used in an argument. Again, this film is conducted with an intended scholarly audience, these slurs are not being used in a directed derogatory statement.
