The Wee Free Men

Practical nine-year-old Tiffany Aching is determined to be a witch, although she has no idea how to start. When her constantly sticky baby brother is stolen away to Fairyland, however, she resolves to steal him back no matter how much of a nuisance it might be. Aided by an army of tiny blue men in kilts, a frying pan, and a good pair of boots, Tiffany marches into the unknown to face down creatures that bear little resemblance to the sappy illustrations in her picture book. A real witch might know what to do--but will ordinary Tiffany be enough?
