Claude Sautet or the Invisible Magic (2003)

Dominique Rabourdin and NT Binh collected nearly twenty hours of audio interviews with Claude Sautet, during the seven months preceding his death, in July 2000. Professional career, approach to his cinema, relationships with "his" actors - the voice -off of the filmmaker is superimposed on the numerous extracts from his films and slips between the testimonies of relatives, Graziella, his companion, Bertrand Tavernier, Philippe Sarde or Jean-Paul Rappeneau.
