At a wedding party, Charlotte Hansen, manager of her uncle's booming Hanseatic tea shop, and her ex-husband Viktor first met their daughter Sandra's new lover with extreme displeasure, and immediately afterwards were shocked to see Sandra and her new flame Sven, owner of a scene -Night clubs and also otherwise a rather half-silky appearance to announce their engagement. The worried parents are even more shocked when, at the opening of the will of the uncle who has just passed away, it becomes clear that Sandra will inherit a large stake in the flourishing tea shop upon marriage and that her husband will have a 50 percent stake in the family business. Just the thought that the windy Sven could soon be a co-owner of the Teekontor triggers sheer horror in Charlotte. She quickly pulled Viktor over to her side - he sees the support of his ex-wife as an opportunity to win Charlotte back. The two of them eagerly search for the perfect son-in-law. But it's not so easy to pull it out of the hat: A personal ad lets a lot of men wanting to marry come in at Charlotte and Viktor; the right person is not even close to being there. Also trying to meet the really nice son of Charlotte's new friend, Dr. van Ahrensen's pairing up with Sandra fails miserably. In the end, it is not only Sandra who meets the love of her life: "The bride's parents" finally find each other again through the search for the right man for their daughter.
