This story of a May-December affair between a middle-aged judge and a young taxi driver brings to light society's perceptions of gender, age, and class. Dorinda (Nora Aunor), a state prosecutor-turned-judge on the edge of a midlife crisis, feels completely alone. She has been a widow for years and her only son Dennis resides in the US with his wife. She always tells everyone she isn't lonely--but she lives an empty existence. Some twist of fate has her meeting Noah (Yul Servo), a young taxi driver far from her socioeconomic background. The guy is in mourning after his father, after a cabbie, was killed by a holdup-gang robber. Dorinda is a menopausal judge; Noah is a virile 20-year-old. They don't fit the equation, but that's what makes their relationship exciting.
