Historias breves IV: Happy cool (2004)

The movie opens from black into a white-sheeted bed covered in rose petals. The main character, Julio, violently penetrating his father. This one scene alone goes on for 7 minutes of the film, and the realism of the scene only adds to the extreme sexual tension between the actor and the viewer. Suddenly the sexual act quickly comes to a close after Julio's wife Mabel bursts through the bedroom door appalled by the event going on in front of her. Julio stutters as he tries to explain the incriminating evidence, but becomes silent after the shocking realization Mabel is not mad at all. In fact, she had been waiting for this moment since their marriage 50 years ago. The film suddenly cuts to a flashback where Mabel is seen lying on the same bed from the scene before aroused as she imagines her husband performing sexual intercourse on her father. The film suddenly cuts back to present day and Mabel violently throws herself into her husband's arms. The two begin to passionately make love for the next 5 minutes of the film. The film finally ends with Julio and Mabel remembering happy memories while drinking milkshakes at the local hamburger spot, Happy Cool.
