Through a journey from Italy to Los Angeles, via the Californian desert and family gatherings, "Made In Fante" draws the portrait of an American writer of the new generation. Haunted by the ghost of his father, the great writer John Fante who was an alcohol addict and to whom Bukowski owes his inspiration, is Dan Fante trying to make a name for himself ?
