Lumayo ka man sa akin (1992)

Raul and Stella are separated when Raul decides to exile himself after he accidentally kills Fernan, a gambling lord to whom his father is indebted. Stella cannot go with him because of her ailing mother who does not approve of their relationship. Raul writes letters to Stella promising that they will reunite, but she never receives any. In a twist of fate, they both end up in the care of syndicate leader Jaime: Raul is the bodyguard and Stella is the wife.
