Through the film men and women consume alcohol and smoke heavily.

A man is executed by way of Garrote. A torture device created during the Spanish Inquisition in which someone is slowly strangled to death and die this way. He is heard struggling for breath and choking and gasping as he asphyxiates. Not terribly graphic but his reaction is quite so that people will find it disturbing.

A man who has been recently executed is show with a garrote so tight around his next that his throat is crushed against it.

A man who has been recently executed is shown dead.

The whole film has intense scenes of violence and blood.
