Somne (2005)

Andrea de Novi is a doctor who back University of Linza, in Salerma's island, for replacing María Ruiz after her suicide in an experiment to connect a human brain with a computer system by decode the phases of the dream using to a monkey called Orvil as subject of the test. Helped by the weird Dr. Diego Morán and Gabriel, María's son, Andrea begins to work but soon she suspects that something strange happens in the campus when Marquina, co-director of the project with Fernando Ulloa and Gerard Benedict, warns her for to left the experiment. Later Fer, Ulloa's son (who suffers autism), appears to warn her too noticing about a spider web, guiding to Andrea to a house in ruins in the middle of the forest. There Andrea stumbles with Marcos, one of the guards of the campus and old friend of her, who decides helps Andrea in her quest. She, Gabriel, Diego and Marcos leave the house and they find in a hidden cellar from a former scientist team. Finding a footage videos, they discover that the experiment was tested before with human beings (among them a child Fer), learning finally that the failure of the experiment with humans caused the death of Guilles, another doctor of the project, and too the death of María (hidden as suicide). Andrea, discovering that Ulloa and Benedict are implied, tries to stop them and stop the experiment too. At the same time Andrea discovers that the autism of Fer was accidentally induced, with help of her friends Andrea tries to cure to the boy of his autism before that Benedict and Ulloa catch them.
