Mekong: A River of Asia (1964)

Under the aegis of the United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East, 24 nations are participating in a project to harness the waters of the Mekong River to avoid floods and provide large scale controlled irrigation and power, and to make it navigable for 1,500 miles from Vientiane to the South China coast.
