The Runaways (2010)

The film follows the story of Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, two rebellious teenagers with a punk spirit. With their distinctive looks they become the soul of their rock band and become a success; however, their conflicts jeopardize the band's future potential. Based on a true story of the band The Runaways formed in the '70s, the film by director Floria Sigismondi, starring Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart, offers a powerful portrait of two rock stars who made their mark on the rock genre.
