Death of a Ghost Hunter (2007)

This film is very sexually disturbing.

We find out that the father of the religious family who lived in the house would take in teenage girls who were "sinners" and "teach them the way of God" through severe sexual abuse: he chained them up in the attic of the house and physically and sexually abused them; nudity is shown in some of these flashbacks.

One of these girls got pregnant and had a baby by him. We see her in labor with blood between her legs (no nudity).

His wife wears a strange box on her head in a flashback scene where they had sex; the wife is kneeling on the bed, and the box is designed to super-impose an image of the husband with an image of Jesus so as to make the husband look like Jesus for the wife to view, while she is penetrated from behind.

A young woman undresses in a bathroom after bleeding through the front of her skirt and takes a bath. You see breasts and buttocks. This scene goes on for about 1 minute, but is not sexual in nature.

Pornographic pictures of supposedly young teens are found inside a bible; girls are bound by chains and completely nude showing breasts, pubic area, and butt.

Two of the ghost hunters joke about having sex in one of the bedrooms.

The end shows scenes of torture, rape, chains, nudity, physical abuse and a lot more.

He tells her that sometimes Christians may need to 'stand up' for their religious beliefs against those who are 'not from God'.

She then proceeds to force her way into the house and get the key she had originally left in the home before she was kicked out.

She later breaks in and by candlelight says some kind of prayer in a different language while carrying a gun and resting it in front of a picture of the wife of the original home owner.

She then proceeds to place the box found in the master bedroom while it seems to be that she is having flash backs of sexual intercourse, murder and then it appears she dies because you see blood shatter all over the inside of the box where only her head is located.

One woman is murdered from behind while following a voice asking for help and claiming they are hurt.

The male videographer is then called into a bedroom by the voice of the woman who was murdered. He is then killed by what seems to be the girl who died with the box on her head aka religious nut.

The final woman, the ghost hunter, is murdered by an unseen force and you see bloody snap shots of their bodies...

The end scene shows A LOT of gore.

A woman giving birth naturally (the teen who was being cleansed of all sins by the husband.)

The husband being murdered by the wife right before they had sex.

Then she went into her 3yr old daughters room and murdered her while the little girl screamed and begged for her mother not to hurt her.

Then she went to see peter, and murdered him..

She then went to see the girl who was pregnant by her husband and the child and kills her as well and then tries to drown the baby in the bathtub because the baby needed to be saved but the baby is not drowned because the plug from the tub came loose

The religious nut then kills herself after writing a suicide note

The ghost hunter reappears and cannot leave the house, she thinks she is alive but she is really dead - she sees blood on her hands as she touches her head, but is caught in the home with the other ghosts

There is a lot of profanity ranging from the F word to the S word. A LOT!

Different characters occasionally smoke cigarettes and marijuana.

The film is very frightening.

The image of the ghost of the little girl slowly peaking around the corner is chilling. In the opening sequence a woman tries to drown a baby in a bathtub.

You can hear children screaming and begging their mother not to hurt them.
