About a frail misanthrope who lives a lonely life of poverty and suffers from a nervous illness implied to be schizophrenia. When she is not taking powdered medicine for her frequent headaches, she can be found with her nose in a book, favoring stories of doppelgängers; while given to flights of fancy, she herself is rather listless.
