Rachel Getting Married (2008)

Kym is out of an addiction rehab clinic and reunites with her well-off family as they plan the wedding of her sister, Rachel. The occasion is the perfect excuse for old family crisis to resurface, with tension rising as the idyllic atmosphere of the wedding contrasts with the drama hinted around Kym. Jonathan Demme directs this deep, emotional drama that nevertheless never compromises on humor. Furthermore, Anne Hathaway was nominated for an Oscar as best actress.
