After School (2008)

Michale Powell runs an urban neighborhood After School program. It's about to get shut down because of no funding and Michale seeks to find the funding to keep the program running. If he doesn't under privileged kids will find themselves no place to go after school. A kid in danger of that is ROW ROW Michale's live-in girlfriend's son Shonda. Row Row brings excitement and danger to the program because some local drug dealers are after him for losing some drugs. He is forced to leave his beloved grandmother's house Ma Dear to live with a not so happy Michale. Michale's relationship with Shonda suffers because of Row Row's out of control behavior. In the end Michale will try to be the hero to save his relationship and the After School program.
