The Second Woman (2009)

Maria is at full term in her pregnancy but her joy turns to despair as while alone, she experiences a stillbirth. In shock, she buries the child on the rural property while assisted by her Mother in law, Amelia. Maria continues to experience grief and longing for her child but her Mother in law soon expects that Maria will end her grieving. Maria continues to experience the loss of her child until years later she finally comes to terms with its absence.
