Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016)

Based on a novel by Seth Grahame-Smith that revisits the universe of Jane Austen's classic, this is a film with a parodic tone. Set in the 19th century, a plague of zombies stalks the british people, but Elizabeth Bennet is ready to confront them with her martial arts and weapons. Furthermore, she joins forces with Mr. Darcy, an arrogant fellow whom she decides to tolerate in the face of danger. Produced by Natalie Portman, it has a very different take on popular characters, with action scenes and plenty of humour.
