Lauren Wilson is given a Turkish charm of protection from a mysterious woman in her apartment building. Upon the woman's recognition of Lauren's sixth sense, Lauren wants to be transformed. Her memory takes her on a journey of her past - a past beaded with telepathic occurrences which she had always disregarded as mere coincidences. Is this Turkish charm, this nazar boncuk, a link into a realm of her psychic abilities or is it a mere charm of protection? Is there something Lauren is overlooking in the larger scheme of things?
