Blue Labyrinth (2007)

A novelist, Wataru Naruse, won the Literary Award when he was young. But from the pressure of being an award winning hit novelist, he tries to commit suicide. But he fails. He decides to go see his old friend. There, Wataru sees a mermaid. Was what he saw "real" or "an imagination"?
