Inspirational Danish Paralympic champion Anne-Mette Bredahl (Nordic skiing and biathlon) has overcome many obstacles in her amazing life, including going blind in her early 20s, surviving a rare and potentially fatal illness, and then recovering sufficiently to qualify for the 2010 Paralympics in Vancouver, B.C., after only ten weeks of training. Given the fact that she has not fully recovered from her illness, how will she, her Norwegian guide and coach, Monica Berglund, her English husband, Paul Bowen, and her family define and achieve success at Whistler Olympic Park? How does having a baby complicate and enrich the life of a successful blind athlete and her family?
