Generation Last (2012)

A global warming thriller following a group of children, "The C 5", who go out in search of their kidnapped sister to discover the truth behind the myth of the last sentient beings on earth, a mythical creature placed on Earth to protect it from human destruction. The last five children on Earth, led by PAK and CORAL, survive in an apocalyptic world as they venture out in search MAYA, their kidnapped sister. Inspired by the ancient Mexican myth of "The Chanekes", a mysterious elf-like creature that punishes those who disregard the natural environment. GENERATION LAST follows the last five children on Earth, as they struggle to purify any water and food they may happen upon on their journey.
