The premise of the film is that teenagers intending to commit suicide anyway are being picked off by a masked killer. The death scenes of the victims are very bloody and sometimes show graphic stabbings and wounds.
At the start of the film, a man enters his daughter's bedroom to find her dead and covered in blood. It isn't initially clear how she died, but the characters often refer to her suicide.
Teenagers talk about forming a suicide pact, and then discuss how they will kill themselves, suggesting pills, shooting and hanging.
In a dream, a young boy walks downstairs and into a room where we hear a sudden gunshot, but do not see the shooting.
A girl in a dark room is attacked by the killer. She puts up a fight and although there is a tussle and he is armed with a knife, she has time to ask him why he is doing this and manages to lock him out. Someone else enters the scene, and she survives physically unharmed. Later she is said to have bruises from the attack.
A teenage boy is shown with a gun, and he enthuses about "going out with a bang", and being a mass murderer of the others in his suicidal cult before he tops himself. He discusses this and the short-lived fame it will bring him.
A man looks in a mirror and notices he has unexplained blood on his face. He rushes back to someone's bedroom and pulls back the covers to find them dead and covered in blood. He screams and we see a hand raise a bloody knife. The door closes before we see anything.
A boy is harassed, insulted and shoved by a couple of yobs on the street. His friend jumps in to defend him, and after some other characters get involved, the victim gets out a knife. The yob doesn't believe he will use it, but the knife is passed over to his friend, who says he "knows how". The yobs back off and no one is harmed.
Throughout the film teenagers talk about suicide.
